Christianity
is a widely followed religion in Kerala and it is locally believed that
St. Thomas, one of the direct disciples of Christ established seven
churches here, of which four are still existing.The famous churches in
Kerala includes the St.
Francis Church, the Malayatoor
Church and Santa
Cruz Basilica. The churches here truly reflect the deep-rooted faith
people have in the religion.
